The last capital city of independent Bengal before British rule was named after Nawab Murshid Quli Khan, the Dewan of Bengal, Bihar and Odisha. Situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi, it is a city of splendour and is famous for its silk. It was made the capital of Bengal in 1717. The British shifted the capital to Kolkata in 1773. Plassey (Palashi), where the historic battle was fought in 1757 between Nawab Siraj-ud-Doula and Lord Clive of the East India Company, is only 40 km south of Murshidabad.

Placed at a distance of 5 km from Chaltia Bil Lake, Baharampur Tourist Lodge is a guesthouse in Baharampur. The property is easily accessible from the Berhampur Court Railway Station which is 3 km away. Guests are offered comfortable accommodation in 10 rooms spread across 2 floors. Some of the basic amenities offered are television, makeup mirror, wake-up call service, wardrobe and attached bathroom with hot/cold running water facility. Baharampur Tourist Lodge offers facilities and services like front desk assistance (limited-hours), airport transfers (surcharge), luggage storage space and limited-hour room service. One can reach this Baharampur hotel via travel hubs such as Mohona Bus Stand (2 km) and Berhampur Helipad (2 km).

Please check the rules of reservation & cancellation policy before booking. It is mandatory to carry any of the Identity cards (Voter Identity Card / Passport / PAN Card / Driving License / Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt / Adhar Card). Both these will be examined at the time of check-in.

Reservation Rules

Please Follow The Restriction Imposed and Guidelines as Being Issued Time to Time By the Government and Local Authorities of the District Before Booking.
During check-in time all guest will have to produce an identity card (Voter Identity card / Passport / Pan Card/ Driving License/Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt. for their employees etc.) in original as mentioned in reservation slip. The guest will also recordrelationship with accompanying members during check in.
The booking at the chosen Property is not transferable and is valid only if one of the ID card noted above is presented during the check in. Theguest should carry with him/her a print out of the e-reservation slip.
Two children below 8-years of age may stay with parents without additional room tariff subject to size of the room booked. Extra bed is available on additional payment, subject toavailability of space in room.
WBTDC will not be liable for non-availability of amenities / services caused by irreparable technical faults or natural calamity.
Due to the ongoing renovation work at the lodges of WBTDCL, we deeply regret the inconvenience that you might face during your stay.
Please do not pay any tips to the staffs of the Lodges of WBTDCL.
Pre/Postponement of booking is allowed only once for a particular booking.
There should be clear 7 days in between the date of check-in and date of attempt for availing the facility of Pre / postponement
No refund will be applicable for cancellation of a booking after availing the facility of pre/postpone.
Pet are not allowed in any Tourism Property

Tax Rules

GST-12% with Full ITC to be paid on spot during check-in (When Room rent between Rs. 1,001/- to Rs. 7500/- per day)
GST-18% with Full ITC to be paid on spot during check-in (When Room rent between Rs. 7,501/- and above per day

Service Charge 5% (Optional) on Room Rent to be paid on spot during check-in

Discount Charges

Discount applicable for rooms (no two discounts will be applicable at a time in a single booking)
50 % for cancer patients
20 % for Senior citizen ( Age 60yrs and above)
25 % for single occupancy
Any type of Discount applicable is to be selected during the time of booking; no further claims regarding the same will be accepted afterwards.
Proper id/medical proofs to be submitted during check-in at Lodge for the discounts claimed during booking.
No discounts applicable for Hollong Tourist Lodge

Extra Charges

Extra Person Charges 20 % of the room rent payable on spot .
Extra Cot Charges 30 % of the room rent payable on spot.
Tariff for extra person in double / triple bedrooms:
30% of tariff for extra bed/Mattress (subject to availability)
20% of tariff for extra person without extra bed.
An additional charge of Rs 200/- is levied per day if room heater is provided in the rooms of Annexe building of Darjeeling TL on demand.

Special Cases

All the lodges except Kalighat, Pathik Motel, Malda, Hollong and Jayanti Tourist Lodge have complementary breakfast. No complimentary breakfast for Dormitory Accommodation
For the tourist having booking at Sajnekhali Tourist Lodge-(Boat timings) pickup time from Gadkhali is 10.30 am -11.00 am and drop from lodge to Gadkhali is 8.30 am - 9.00 am

Cancellation Policy

Reservation may be cancelled by the guest through this portal (only for online payments made by an Indian citizen). The amount of refund will be reversed to the debit/credit card/bank account after deducting the cancellation charges as per policy.
Reservation may be cancelled in case of acute administrative requirement. No cancellation charge will be deducted under such scenario.
For part cancellation, normal refund rules will apply.
Refund admissible only upon production of the original reservation slip.
